Kenwood Boulevard Studio Landscapes and Seascapes by Paul Philbrook I hope this page will provide answers to some of your questions. Please contact me with any additional questions you may have. Are original paints for sale? Yes, the one's that are not sold. Are all of the prints signed and numberd? No. The numbering of prints starts with 13" x 17" and is part of the same series used by 18" x 24" and larger, custom sizes. When number 400/400 of an image is reached, regardless of size, there will be no more numbered prints of that image available. The only images to continue will be 5" x 7" and 8" x 10" open editions. Are all prints archival? YES! What type of paper are they printed on? Are there any color options for the matted prints? No, but the matts have been selected by a professional framer to be compatable with each print. What is a High-Resolution Digital Type-C Lightjet print? Digital Type-C Lightjet prints are true photographic prints made from digital files using a truly amazing digital enlarger/printer called a Lightjet. Type C Prints are created using the same equipment and by talented technical artists that print Custom and Exhibition prints for some of themost respected and well-known fine artists, museums, and galleries worldwide. Theyre known as C prints because they share the same developing philosophy used by traditional photo labs, called C-41. This type of print is also called a Lambda, due to the equipment that prints them. The Lightjet takes a digital file and uses a digital enlarger (rather than a traditional, optical darkroom enlarger) in a high-tech process that utilizes an extremely fine laser to expose traditional Type-C photographic paper. The paper is then developed in traditional darkroom chemistry. The result is an amazing true photographic print that is unsurpassed in sharpness, color accuracy and reproduction of detail while achieving the ultimate in image fidelity. Most clients agree that Lightjet prints far exceed the quality of traditional darkroom prints. Archival Quality? The Photo paper and inks used for our prints have a 60-plus year life expectancy under normal viewing conditions. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or intense fluorescent light may cause pre-mature color problems PAINTINGS ORDERING INFORMATION ABOUT ME Paul Philbrook Click here to email Ph 1. 515. 961. 7846 Indianola, Iowa - Kenwood Boulevard Studio hours by appoinment only.
